The origin of TDW
Nico Osenstätter launched TDW in 2024, part of the Osenstätter company group. Since then, TDW has grown into its own brand for premium wood surfaces and interior elements, built on the depth of experience and technical expertise of OHF — Osenstätter Holz & Furnier.
OHF's own story spans more than four decades: a small business that evolved into a 360° production facility for wood surfaces in Schongau, now led by the third generation of the family.
From the woods, to the plank, to the surface
Every TDW product originates from wood components made by Osenstätter Holz & Furnier. Together, the company group covers the entire value chain, from the raw log to the finished surface. Seamless coordination between both companies keeps every step of the process transparent and decision fast.

From the woods to the product
Each piece of wood that enters the facility is handled by skilled hands at every stage. Decades of experience in the material guide the process.
Most TDW products start with European oak, each log selected directly from certified forests before it is cut, before anything else is decided. The grain, the movement, the response to treatment all determine what the wood becomes. Modern technology sits alongside that knowledge, not instead of it. The result is a production environment that processes materials with a level of consistency that only skilled hands can ensure. Pre-configured, ready-to-install components for high-end interiors: each piece finished to specification.
Machines bring precision, but true quality always starts with skilled hands.
Responsible sourcing
The wood arrives from certified forests in France and central Europe, traceable from source to finished surface.
Wood is not a raw material like others. It grows slowly, gives once, and carries its origin in every ring. The forests it comes from are managed for the long term: nature protected, biodiversity preserved, the forest cared for with future generations in mind. We source responsibly and work only with partners who share the same approach to long-term stewardship. Quality starts long before production begins.
